My Background

My name means World in my mother tongue, Farsi, and I see myself as a world citizen. I was born in the most beautiful city of Iran, Esfahan, and grew up in the city where the EURO was born, Maastricht (The Netherlands).
Before Sydney

Throughout my professional career I have lived and worked in the Caribbean, New York City, Amman (Jordan), Johannesburg (South Africa), London and Amsterdam, before I joined EY Sydney a year ago.
My Working Style

I started my career as a Social Worker with a strong belief that everyone can play a role to make this world a better place, just by listening to one another. As a Change Manager, I see that skill as my strength in a time where we have so much pressure to just “Go Go Go!” However, don’t get me wrong, if we ever have the chance to interact, you’ll feel that I’m not a “fluffy, soft change person”, I have been described as Outspoken, Direct, Fearless and Pragmatic…I will get s*^t done just through a more human-centric approach.
Outside EY

Thankfully, I also have a lovely non-professional life where I want to do too much! As a new Sydneysider, I actually live more like a tourist during the weekends. I have a project management app that I use to ensure I explore a lot of the amazing treasures of Sydney/NSW/ Australia… If you have any tips about where to eat, where to go, feel free to message me!
